I have a strong background in UI programming using both Unreal Engine and Unity, where I worked on projects like Kanzo, MyWhoosh, Winsurance, and others. My approach to UI design emphasizes a minimalist aesthetic, ensuring that interfaces are clean, user-friendly, and aligned with the overall game design.

I implemented a component-to-component approach to break down complex UI systems into manageable, reusable parts, allowing for flexibility and ease of maintenance. This also enabled UI optimization, ensuring smooth performance even in resource-intensive environments. I prioritized reusability by creating versatile UI components, streamlining development across multiple projects and features.

In Unreal Engine, I worked extensively with UMG (Unreal Motion Graphics) interfaces, crafting responsive and dynamic UI elements that integrated seamlessly with gameplay. This included the development of HUDs, menus, and pop-up dialogues, ensuring an intuitive flow for the player. I also utilized Unity’s canvas system to build interfaces that are optimized for different platforms, from mobile to PC.

Throughout my work, I’ve consistently focused on improving performance by reducing draw calls, optimizing widget usage, and minimizing memory footprint, ensuring that each UI was as lightweight as possible without sacrificing functionality.
